I always knew that I would devote my entire life to Art. Creating is my mission, my passion and my responsibility. It is the path I have chosen to help me fully bloom as a human being and as an artist. I seek to develop a greater awareness of human emotion and the passage of that emotion from the model, through my work, to my audience. There is so much to discover and many different ways to understand.

The passion and inspiration that comes out of each meeting with my model and the sharing between individuals constitutes my primary driving force for evolving and continuously creating new works. My goal is to improve and learn new elements from each creation. I am currently focusing on improving my skills with drawing from the model and transposing the feelings from them on paper in more than just forms and colors. I want to capture a sentiment of happiness, sadness, or whichever other emotion that the model is feeling. I love working with the beauty in human beings and I want to create some sort of reflection in those who will look at my drawings. For me, art is sharing with others and I think it remains one of the greatest ways to learn about human nature; it is my quest through the evolution of my art.

I have used coloured pencils all my life; they are definitely my favourite medium. I like their versatility, and working with them has become almost an energizing ritual for me. My creativity stems from the emotion expressed from my real life models. I enjoy working with individuals and perceiving their energy. My fascination with people is my main source of inspiration and is the reason why I continue to use real people as the subjects of my work. I believe that through the process of working with them, my art can evolve and take on greater depth with each new model and each new work. With each new work I further my ability to transcend the paper and show my audience the feeling and the emotion of the model from which it was originally captured. I am very particular about which models I choose because it is essential that I establish a contact with him/her. Every meeting gives me the opportunity to go further into the consciousness of my art.
